"All Pursians should die!"
―A terrorist, Ride-On King, Chapter 1.
The 3 trucks about to ram into Purchinov (and the statue behind him).
The Terrorists were a group of people who used intentional harm on Purchinov to achieve unknown political goals. Though their real motives were unknown, they stated every Pursians must die and were aiming to kill the president of Pursia. Purchinov also noted those terrorists were inspired by "one of the superpowers", hinting the influence of other powerful countries.
Appearance[]
There is presumably more than three terrorists, as each trucks possess 2 seats but only one terrorist was visibly seen (the other trucks doesn't show any of the drivers' faces, it can be assumed there is at least one driver per truck). Although there is only one terrorist visible in the last truck, it can be assumed that every terrorists wears a baclava, a dark coat with a tie.
History[]
Prelude[]
The group of terrorists have unknown backgrounds, which means no one knows their motives and how many of them still exists. But they seem to have plotted a coup on Purchinov for perhaps a very long time and they were prepared to make the assassination on the president on Pursia one day. It is perhaps possible the terrorists were hired to kill Purchinov by some organization who works for some rival countries.
"So after regulating guns, it's trucks this time. So foolish..."
―Purchinov witnessing the attack aimed at him.
Day of the Attack[]
The presidential stomp...
After an extremely busy schedule, Purchinov wanted to take a small break in his hard day and took Arslan for a ride in the town of Pursia. As he was thoughtful on his dreams to search for new places to his heart's content rather than doing politics, Purchinov was approaching the great statue that honors him: a statue of himself riding a Pegasus, the country's symbol of freedom. But for Alexander to dwell in his thoughts did not lasted long, as he spotted some trucks bashing other cars around and were driving directly towards him. Natalia, who was inside of one of the private vehicles that were supposed to protect the president, wanted to warned Purchinov of the incoming attack, but to no avail as she was too far away from him.
...to the presidential throw!
"If you have a problem with me, come at me personally. With your own body. And complain!"
―Purchinov, during his counter-attack against the terrorist.
As Purchinov was telling to Arslan to step aside, he already knew the terrorists were influenced by one of the super powers, perhaps the possibility of rival countries willing to destroy Pursia and mentioned how he might regulating trucks this time. Purchinov calmly stood still, two of the trucks rammed on the statue to create a wall with zero spaces, so the president wouldn't be able to escape the third truck incoming toward him. For the first time in the series, the president has shown a display of his tremendous strength by stomping the concrete below him so a piece of solid stone literally stopped the third truck. Due to the impact, the truck was sent flying toward Purchinov, so he grabbed the truck and performed what it seems to be a judo shoulder throw, which the truck landed on the side of the statue.
The aftermath of the attempted terrorism act.
"Not that! Above! Look above you! The head...!"
―Natalia's last words to Purchinov.
Aftermath[]
The attack caused quite a ruckus, as people were rushing toward the statue and the trucks literally pilled up on the statue. The terrorists appears to be most likely killed due to ramming into the statue, with the third terrorist surely dead due to the president's throw. While Purchinov was calmly arranging his tie without even breaking a sweat, Natalia was running toward him to warn the president about the statue's head about to fall on him. Purchinov did not understood her message, it was already too late for the country's leader to dodge the massive piece of statue falling on him. After the head fall, there was nothing left of the president nor the head of the statue...
