Alexander Purchinov, commonly known by his surnames "Purchinov" or "Old Man", is the current ruler of the small country of Pursia and the main protagonist of the series. He is revered for being an incredibly strong man and being excellent at martial arts, giving him the kind of power that the nation worships. Having both liberated the country and being such a powerful man, he is supported by the country as its president. After an unfortunate incident, he is transported to a fantasy realm, where he begins a quest to ride that world and its creatures as he had ridden his own. In the process, he becomes an adventurer and joins Saki and Bell on their own missions.

Origins[]
Not much is known about Purchinov's life and where he lived prior to the birth of Pursia, it can be assumed he lived somewhere in Central Asia for a major part of his life.
Rising Into Politics[]
While his true intentions concerning why he became a politician are unknowns, Purchinov seemed to have work hard to reach the top of politics in his homeland, to the point he would became powerful enough to create a new country.
A Country's Birth[]
Purchinov has done the impossible: he has managed to create a country that is apart of Central Asia. He named it Pursia and he became the country's first president for the next 15 years. Although his success was immense throughout Pursia, some did not agreed on his point of views in politics and decided to take him down in any means.
Yoga & Martial Arts[]
At some point in his life, Purchinov would start intense training in yoga sessions and harsh martial art training. He would become a master of close quarter combat (CQC), a master of Karate and Judo. Such trainings gave him the strength of a thousand men.
Personality[]
Purchinov possess incredible leadership qualities, qualities that managed to lead his own country independent against all other nations; however, beneath it all, he has an extremely child-like mentality and seeking only to ride on anything he can get his hands upon. Purchinov also does not condone unnecessary killing on criminals, an example can be seen as when every tamers wore an enslavement collar and Saki just wanted to kill them, he answered to go beyond self-defense and causing a massacre as one pleases is unbefitting of someone like him. Another example being after he knocked a Knight Order, the centaur Marcello wanted to deal the killing blow but Purchinov refused and explained to the centaur how he would avoid to kill as much possible due to his life as a president was "a world of daily killing and deception", if he was to die in this new world then it would be a natural outcome.
Appearance[]
Purchinov possess a very muscular physical appearance, thanks to the vigorous trainings from intense yoga and Japanese martial arts. Even while wearing casual clothing, Purchinov is very physically imposing. What most people from the fantasy world noticed about him is his facial structures resembling of a "demon" and "looking too evil", which led to assumptions he's a monk who worships "The Evil God". Though exaggerated, Purchinov's facial appearance is indeed menacing when he is serious and even when calm he terrifies some individuals.

- His overall physical appearance, especially his face, is a direct inspiration to Vladimir Putin, real-life president of Russia.
- The fact Pursia is inspired by Russia makes it more relevant.
- Alexander's is an excellent martial artist and expert in hand-to-hand combat. This is also inspired by Vladimir Putin, who is a former KGB agent (ex-USSR Intelligence Service) and a practitioner of Judo, Karate and Sambo.
- The scene of Alexander riding a tiger is directly inspired by the viral picture of Putin riding a bear.
- He has an unnamed wife, who unfortunately passed away. It is unknown about the circumstances on how she has died, though Alexander seems to hold dear on his memories about her.
